Job summary

Lake City Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide (CNA) to support residents with restorative care plans. Under rehab and nursing direction, you will implement and track restorative activities to preserve physical function and emotional well-being.

The role requires CNA certification and a compassionate, team-oriented approach to working with residents, families, and regulatory agencies. Strong documentation and daily resident interaction are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with restorative nursing knowledge.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and outside agencies.
• Experience implementing restorative programs and documenting progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in restorative programs for individual residents.
• Facilitate transitions from skilled rehab to restorative progressive and preventive care.
• Maintain restorative nursing progress/dokumentation records for all residents.
• Visit residents daily to ensure program productivity and responsiveness.

Overview of the Restorative Aide Role:

As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in coordinating, implementing, and providing restorative nursing care for all residents. Working under the direction of the rehabilitation and nursing departments, you'll be responsible for maximizing and maintaining the physical functioning and emotional wellness of our residents. Your additional responsibilities include:

• Overseeing, directing, and participating in restorative programs for individual residents.


• Facilitating the transition of residents from skilled rehab services to restorative progressive and preventative programs.


• Maintaining restorative nursing progress/documentation records for all participating residents.


• Visiting each resident daily and as needed to ensure the program's productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant with experience and/or knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy/procedures.


• Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public.
