As the Restoration Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and crews. This front-line management position leads your team to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates using proprietary software.
- Negotiate project scope and estimate approvals with customers and clients.
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee crews and resources, including subcontractors, on active projects.
- Review job site documentation to support services provided, ensuring proper client requirements and billing.
- Maintain communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
- Manage production expenses such as equipment, vehicles, and materials.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage client experience and customer satisfaction, monitored through online reviews.
- Respond promptly to potential customers.
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training restoration team members.
- Prepare estimates using Xactimate & Symbility (training provided).
- Address revision requests and communicate with insurance adjusters and policyholders.
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry for customers and jobs.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include functions outside normal scope.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- IICRC certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Xactimate and Symbility is a plus (training available).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills, Physical Demands, and Competencies
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Repetitive ability to push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Ability to work with cleaning agents.
