The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Salaries will be determined based on various factors including market data, education, experience, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

General Purpose

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will lead initiatives to improve community health, including the Joy of Literacy Initiative (JOLI) and Medical Legal Partnership (MLP). Responsibilities include project oversight, program development, operational support, and collaboration with internal teams and community partners. The SPM will also contribute to strategic projects within the Hoekelman Center.

Essential Functions

• Project Management & Leadership: Oversee projects, coordinate teams, ensure timely completion, serve as main contact, promote evidence-based practices, and report to leadership.
• Program Development & Evaluation: Design feedback and evaluation systems, develop growth strategies, support research activities, and inform planning.
• Operational & Communication Support: Manage budgets, logistics, maintain documentation, and support communication efforts.

Other Duties

• Support team collaboration, prioritize tasks, and contribute to multiple projects.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in public health, public administration, or related fields.
• Experience managing budgets, community health projects, and working with non-profits, government agencies, and grants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Passion for early literacy and social determinants of health.

Licenses and Certifications

• Human Subjects Research certification.
