Job summary

BMS CAT is hiring for a Water Damage Restoration Technician in Hayward, CA. You will perform water mitigation, extraction, and related restoration tasks on site, following safety guidelines. The role requires physical effort and the ability to lead a work crew, with on-call rotation and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in water mitigation.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics).
• Participate in on-call rotation work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation and restoration services.
• Water extraction.
• Perform demolition tasks.
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged.
• Place and monitor drying equipment.
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques.
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment.
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown.
• Effectively lead a work crew.

Compensation:

Company paid Life Insurance, optional Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available, 401 (k) plan, generous paid time off, and much more.

Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Base Pay Maximum: $37 per hour

Base Pay Minimum: $26 per hour
