Job summary

A leading restoration company in New Jersey is looking for a dedicated Water Damage Technician. This role involves performing water damage mitigation and restoration services, leading work crews, and ensuring adherence to proper procedures. Candidates should have experience in water mitigation, the ability to lift heavy materials, and participate in an on-call rotation. Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred.
• Experience in water mitigation required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and in tight spaces
• Participation in on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history

Responsibilities

• Perform water damage mitigation and restoration services.
• Lead a work crew effectively.
• Set up and monitor remediation equipment.
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/remonitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers such as:

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks

• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures

• Perform job cleanup and breakdownEffectively lead a work crew

Requirements

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history
