Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a water damage restoration technician to perform mitigation, extraction, demolition, cleanup, and site setup for residential projects. You will place and monitor drying equipment, follow drying guidelines, and ensure safe, efficient operations on each job site.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in our on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Water mitigation experience required.
• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

• Perform high-quality water mitigation and restoration services.
• Water extraction and debris removal.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Lead a work crew on site.
• Containment setup and remediation equipment handling.

Job Duties:

Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers such as:

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements:

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history

Compensation:

Company paid Life Insurance, optional Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available, 401 (k) plan, generous paid time off, and much more.

Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Base Pay Maximum: $26

Base Pay Minimum: $22
