Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking a driven water mitigation technician to perform high quality water damage restoration across residential sites. You will lead a work crew, operate drying equipment, and ensure safety and efficiency on every job.

The role requires physical stamina and experience in water mitigation, with preferred IICRC certification. On-call rotation and a valid driver's license are required. Base pay ranges from $26–$37 per hour, with benefits discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation and restoration services.
• Conduct water extraction and debris removal as needed.
• Demonstrate lead capabilities for a work crew.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment at job sites.
• Perform setup and breakdown of job site and van.
• Follow company guidelines for drying techniques.

Job Duties:

Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers such as:

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements:

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving history

Compensation:

• Company paid Life Insurance, optional Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available, 401 (k) plan, generous paid time off, and much more.
• Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
• Base Pay Maximum: $37
• Base Pay Minimum: $26
