Job summary

BMS CAT & Blackmon Mooring seeks a water damage mitigation and restoration technician in Colorado. You will perform high quality water mitigation, water extraction, demolition, cleanup and set up drying equipment, while following company guidelines to ensure proper drying techniques.

You will lead a work crew, participate in on-call rotations, and must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving history.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation required or preferred.
• IICRC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 with assistance.
• Able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
• Participation in on-call rotation is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Job Duties:

Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers such as:

• Perform high quality water mitigation services
• Water extraction
• Perform demolition tasks
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged
• Place and monitor drying equipment
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown
• Effectively lead a work crew

Requirements:

• IICRC certification preferred, but not required
• Experience in water mitigation
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Participate in our on-call rotation work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history

Compensation:

Company paid Life Insurance, optional Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance is available, 401 (k) plan, generous paid time off, and much more.

Compensation will vary based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Base Pay Maximum: $26

Base Pay Minimum: $22
