Job summary

South Baltimore Gateway Partnership seeks a Gr ants & Contracts Manager to lead grant administration, contracting, and compliance for the Restoration Program's Transformational Projects in Baltimore city. You will coordinate funder reporting, procurement, and vendor contracts while supporting project delivery and stewardship.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with the Restoration team, legal counsel, and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering grants, contracts, or procurement in public or nonprofit settings.
• Experience with government or public funding programs is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear workflows and tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-award grant administration, including reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate vendor contracting, procurement records, and amendments.
• Manage site access, MOUs, and long-term stewardship agreements.
• Develop repeatable workflows, trackers, and checklists for transparency.
• Liaise with operations, legal, and funders to ensure timely deliverables.
