Job summary

BELFOR Holdings is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead field restoration personnel, approve time entries, and manage project costs. You will coordinate residential, commercial, and industrial restoration projects, ensuring quality work and safe practices.

You will also supervise crews, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with estimators and project managers to maintain timelines and budgetary goals. Travel and after-hours readiness are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in restoration, cleaning, or related construction industries on commercial/industrial projects.
• Sense of urgency, professional appearance and demeanor, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficient with restoration industry management systems (Restoration Manager, DASH, Service Software, LUXOR) or equivalent.
• Hazardous material identification ability; asbestos, lead paint, mold and IICRC water categories 2, 3, and Special Situations preferred.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and with truck-trailer combinations preferred.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of SDS usage and site-specific safety plans; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• DOT requirements familiarity; valid driver eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage field restoration personnel and oversee project execution.
• Review and approve time entries affecting costs and billing.
• Oversee on-site quality and safety; ensure permits and inspections.
• Coordinate with estimators/project managers for accurate work scopes.
• Lead after-hours emergency responses and weather-related contingencies.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and direction.
• Coordinate logistics with staffing companies and clients.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with BELFOR standards.
