Job summary

FireWater Restoration Services is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to write precise Xactimate scopes for water, fire/smoke, and mold jobs and to manage insurance claims from start to finish. You will negotiate with adjusters, identify supplements, and keep a robust pipeline moving while protecting margins.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in restoration estimating or PM, strong organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license for site visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restoration estimating or project management experience.
• Proficiency in Xactimate — Level 1 certification strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of insurance restoration claims, supplements, and adjuster negotiation.
• Strong organizational skills — you don't let jobs slip through the cracks.
• Confident, professional communicator who isn't afraid to push back on a lowball adjuster.
• Valid driver's license for site visit travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect losses and write accurate Xactimate estimates across water, fire/smoke, and mold jobs.
• Own the insurance claims process from first submission through final payment.
• Negotiate scope and pricing directly with adjusters — and win the arguments worth winning.
• Identify and write supplements for additional damage that other estimators would miss.
• Manage a pipeline of 20–40 active jobs without losing track of a single one.
• Be the financial gatekeeper that protects margin on every job that comes through the door.
