Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Restoration Supervisor/Crew Chief to lead restoration projects in Rhode Island. The role involves coordinating, monitoring, and performing restoration activities to ensure high-quality outcomes and a positive customer experience.

You will supervise technicians, manage materials and safety protocols, and document all work. A background in cleaning/restoration and the ability to pass a background check are required; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.
• IICRC certification is a plus, not required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Availability for rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and perform restoration processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall project satisfaction; communicate expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
• Thoroughly document restoration projects to support the services provided.
• Manage labor, equipment, and supply usage on assigned projects.
• Communicate progress, problems, and important updates with internal team members.
• Verify all safety protocols are established and followed for workplace safety.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Coach and train restoration technicians.

Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/l lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Pay

starts at $22-25 an hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay
