Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking Restaurant Team Members for our travel center. Cooks will handle food preparation, cooking, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen aligned with health regulations; cashiers will ensure a pleasant guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include following recipe specifications, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver orders promptly while adhering to all kitchen procedures and allergen handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to learn and follow kitchen protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
• Cooking and Cooking Assistance: Cook or assist in cooking dishes according to diner menu specifications.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Restock kitchen supplies and monitor inventory; rotate stock (FIFO).
• Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff and front-of-house to ensure timely orders.
• Adherence to Procedures: Follow established cooking procedures and allergen handling.
