Job summary

Five Guys in New Jersey is seeking a part-time team member to deliver friendly, fast, and accurate service while maintaining guest satisfaction. You will take orders, handle payments, operate the POS, and help keep the dining area clean and welcoming.

Experience in food service is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required. NYC Food Handlers License is not required but preferred. This is a part-time, on-site role with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of food service or retail experience preferred.
• NYC Food Handlers License not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offers friendly service to all guests.
• Takes customer orders, maintains fast, accurate service, and positive guest relations.
• Operates grill and in a safe, efficient manner.
• Maintains equipment, facility, and grounds to company standards.
• Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Maintains cleanliness and order in the restaurant and register area.
• Uses the cash register accurately and handles cash, credit, and gift cards.
• Works as a team member to support other staff.
• Receives payments and issues receipts, refunds, or change.
• Reads menu information and answers questions about store policies and procedures.
• Calculates bills using POS and reads prices accurately.
