Job summary

Five Guys in Ewing, NJ is seeking a team member to deliver fast, friendly service and maintain high standards on the grill and register. You will handle orders, payments, and beverage prep while keeping the dining area clean and welcoming.

The role requires good communication, basic math, and a customer-first attitude in a busy restaurant environment. Prior food service experience is preferred, and a NYC Food Handlers License is not required but a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year in food service or retail preferred.
• NYC Food Handlers License not required but preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Offers friendly service to all guests.
• Takes customer orders, maintains fast, accurate service, and positive guest relations.
• Operates grill and performs duties in a safe, efficient manner.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of the restaurant and register area.
• Receives payments by cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards; issues receipts and change.
• Mixes milkshakes and beverages as required.
• Assists customers by providing menu information and handling complaints.
• Reads prices, calculates bills using POS, and enforces store policies.
