Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Team Manager to join our bakery-cafe leadership team, guiding shifts, coaching teammates, and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

You will develop staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and collaborate with the management team to hit goals in sales, speed, and accuracy. Flexibility for nights/weekends, ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain), and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 is required.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand/walk for up to 6 hours.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships to foster loyal guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of new staff.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
