Job summary

Cafua Management Company is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in building a team and delivering great guest experiences. You will help recruit, train, and develop crew and shift leaders while ensuring profitability and adherence to brand standards.

You will also monitor inventory, schedule labor, optimize production, and implement action plans based on guest feedback and assessments. This role requires English fluency and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and cash handling ability.
• Able to count money and make change.
• Must lift at least 30 lbs.
• Stand for 6+ hours and work flexible shifts.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in recruiting, hiring, onboarding and developing employees.
• Communicate job expectations and ensure training is completed per guidelines.
• Create and maintain a guest-first culture in the restaurant.
• Follow safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with laws.
• Ensure Brand standards and systems are executed, including Red Book responsibilities.
• Support production, productivity, quality and guest service standards.
• Review guest feedback and drive system improvements.
• Control costs to maximize profitability and manage cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in weekly inventory and labor scheduling.
