Job summary

The Greystone Inn, part of Hay Creek Hotels, is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead our Food & Beverage team in Lake Toxaway, NC. You will greet and seat guests, maintain service standards, and supervise staff to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of fine dining serving experience, familiarity with POS systems, and a positive, collaborative attitude. Evening and weekend shifts are common in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of a Point-of-Sale system preferred.
• 2 years serving experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant.
• Hotel environment experience is a plus.
• Wine/Liquor knowledge and alcohol service training is preferred.
• Ability to work in a constructive, team environment with a customer-focused attitude.
• Experience handling large parties; banquet/events experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and on busy schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, seat, and serve guests in line with service standards.
• Be familiar with menu items, promotions, and hotel offerings.
• Complete side work and keep areas and equipment clean.
• Resolve complaints and route concerns to the supervisor.
• Reconcile cash, process card charges, and manage deposits.
• Oversee staff on duty for smooth guest experience.
• Lead hands-on training for staff per standards.
• Manage comp and void privileges for F&B staff; ensure accurate transactions.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the F&B Manager.
