Job summary

The Greystone Inn, managed by Hay Creek Hotels, seeks AM & PM Restaurant Servers in Lake Toxaway, NC to join the Food and Beverage team. The role offers an opportunity to gain hospitality experience in a historic lakeside resort with a boutique hotel culture.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, memorizing menus, handling transactions at the POS, and collaborating with a team in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year serving experience in a high-volume restaurant; fine dining preferred.
• Wine/liquor knowledge; alcohol service training a plus.
• Comfortable with technology; POS knowledge preferred.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused attitude; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet, direct, seat, and serve guests per service standards.
• Be familiar with menu items, promotions, and hotel offerings.
• Complete side work and maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Assist in resolving complaints and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Reconcile cash, process credit card charges, and handle end-of-shift deposits via POS.
