Job summary

Recovery Sports Grill Albany is hiring a shift supervisor to assist in daily restaurant operations in Albany, NY. The role focuses on delivering prompt, friendly service, maintaining professional standards, and supporting management in their absence.

The ideal candidate has serving or bartending experience, Serve Safe and TIPS certifications, solid math skills for cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and holiday availability is common.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in serving and/or bartending preferred.
• Serve Safe certification required.
• TIPS certification required.
• Strong math skills and ability to operate a cash register.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prompt, friendly service according to guidelines; guest driven.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform duties of managers in their absence.
• Ensure food and products are prepared and served per recipes and standards.
• Meet sales, service, quality, and sanitation objectives.
• Handle cash and reconcile receipts per policy.
• Enforce alcohol awareness on shift to shift basis.
• Fill in where needed to maintain guest service standards and operations.
• Verify deliveries meet counts and conditions; follow receiving procedures.
