Job summary

Recovery Sports Grill East Greenbush is seeking a shift supervisor to support managers across daily operations. You will ensure prompt, friendly service, uphold company standards, and step in during manager absences.

The role requires 18+ years, Serve Safe and TIPS certs, strong math and cash-handling skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time opportunities include benefits and growth paths.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Serve Safe certification complete.
• TIPS certification complete.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Shift supervisor assists managers in all phases of restaurant operations including operation in absence of manager which include.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines; is guest driven.
• Exhibits a professional image.
• Completes duties of managers in their absence.
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation.
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
• Enforces alcohol awareness on a shift to shift basis.
