Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking a shift supervisor to manage daily restaurant functions in Wisconsin. The role ensures fast, accurate sandwich preparation and world-class customer service, while maintaining a clean, organized shift.

You will train staff, supervise food prep, manage ordering and deliveries, and ensure accurate cash handling and daily reporting. Overtime and weekend shifts are common to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Strong math abilities in addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
• Proficient with personal computers and software such as Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of approximately three to 15 employees.
• Provides on-the-job training for all employees.
• Delegates and is responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize waste and loss.
• Assists in supervision of preparation, sales and service of food.
• Forecasts food items and estimates quantities needed per shift.
• Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty.
• Routes deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery speed.
• Completes daily food preparation and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensures 100% integrity in systems and daily paperwork.
