Job summary

Taco Bell invites you to join as a Restaurant Shift Manager at our Omaha location. You will oversee shift operations, lead a team, ensure quality food and service, and uphold company standards.

You will open/close the restaurant, manage cash handling, scheduling, training, and drive guest satisfaction while controlling costs. A high school diploma and ServSafe or equivalent certification are preferred; Douglas County certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or managerial experience in restaurant operations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant crew members during your shift.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring inquiries are handled promptly.
• Monitor service quality and address issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper storage, handling, and preparation of food.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Create and maintain shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Coordinate with management to address staffing gaps and schedule adjustments.
• Train new hires on policies and duties; conduct ongoing leadership development.
• Monitor sales and expenses to achieve targets and control costs.
• Collaborate with kitchen, servers, and support staff for seamless operations.
