Job summary

HMSHost in Dallas is seeking a Manager II to assist branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant operations. The MGRII ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards under prescribed policies.

The position requires 4+ years in food & beverage with cash handling and customer service experience, plus 2+ years in supervisory roles. On-site availability across varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates.
• Ensures compliance with alcohol service policies and health standards.
• Participates in hiring decisions and recommends promotions or terminations to the GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken by staff.
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing displays.
• Operates cash register and follows cash handling policies.
• Monitors safety and wellness procedures and reports concerns to the GM.
• Places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices.
• Keeps current contact information for all associates.
