Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to assist the Food & Beverage Operations Manager in daily restaurant operations. You will help manage P&L, supervise supervisors and staff, and ensure high-volume performance in a gourmet environment, with focus on scheduling, training, and inventory control.

You should have a bachelor's degree in hospitality or business administration or 3 years of relevant casino F&B experience, including supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business Administration is required.
• Three years' experience in a high-volume casino F&B or similar setting with supervisory experience.
• In lieu of a degree, two years supervisory experience in a high-volume or gourmet restaurant.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Micros, Stratton Warren, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the F&B Operations Manager in day-to-day restaurant duties.
• Help achieve established P&L guidelines and forecasts.
• Hire, train, evaluate, discipline and schedule supervisors and line staff.
• Oversee inventory par levels and assist payroll preparation.
• Maintain health, safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing/PR efforts and tenant partners.
