Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises operates KFC and Taco Bell restaurants and is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to lead a crew during each shift, ensure smooth operations, excellent service, and a safe, clean dining experience.

You will supervise staff, handle customer inquiries, monitor food safety, manage cash and inventory, and train new team members. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required; previous fast-food experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shift: oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership: motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
• Customer Service: interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Food Safety: maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
• Cash Handling: handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Inventory Management: keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
• Shift Reports: prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
• Training: train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Problem-Solving: handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Cleanliness: ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and Specials: assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.
