Job summary

Rubio’s Coastal Grill in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily restaurant operations and support the GM/AM. You will ensure guest satisfaction, maintain food quality and portioning, and drive team performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Some restaurant or retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Basics of the restaurant industry and safety practices.
• Language: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Math: Basic computations for financial paperwork.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with Guests, Team Members and Management to maintain cleanliness and high food quality.
• Supervises Front of the House and Back of the House team members and provides feedback.
• Opens and/or closes restaurant per Rubio’s standards and supervises operations.
• Inspects food for proper portioning, temperature, and appearance.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and proper safety equipment is used.
• Completes daily financial paperwork and deposits money per policy.
• Participates in ongoing classroom and online training.
