Job summary

Shake Shack in Pittsburgh is seeking a responsible Shift Supervisor to manage service flow and lead a high performing hourly team. You will ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on shift, while supporting purchasing, receiving and inventory tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving and a minimum of 1 year of restaurant leadership experience, with local Food Safety Certification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
