Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily shift operations, guest experience, and brand execution. You will lead the team, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with policies while driving sales and maintaining high service standards.

The role requires effective communication, leadership, and a focus on safety and guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with management on opening/closing duties and training to deliver consistent performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading shifts and training staff.
• Ability to resolve guest complaints and maintain service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assign tasks, provide feedback and training.
• Maintain openings/closings, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction.
• Promote sales on shift through suggestive selling and product knowledge.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and daily drawer counts.
• Escalate issues to the Owner or designee as needed.
• Support line operations and food safety compliance.
• Monitor product quality and uphold brand standards.
• Coordinate with team on line transitions and coverage.
