Shake Shack in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a capable restaurant supervisor to manage the flow of service on a shift and direct the work of team members. You will help build and lead a high-performing hourly team while upholding safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on the floor.

Responsibilities include supporting purchasing and inventory tasks as needed, and participating in applicant interviews to strengthen the team. A strong communicator with problem-solving skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Restaurant leadership experience
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.]
