Job summary

Shake Shack in Middletown, New Jersey is seeking a shift supervisor to manage service flow and direct a team to uphold safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed on busy shifts. You will help build and lead a high-performing team of hourly Team Members and may assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving and inventory.

Starting hourly rate is $20.00–$24.00. We offer weekly pay, bonuses, comprehensive health insurance options, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
