Job summary

McAlister's Deli in Moline, IL is seeking an Hourly Manager to assist in daily restaurant operations, supervise shifts, and ensure top food quality, service, cleanliness and safety.

You will help manage both FOH and BOH, control labor costs, handle guest feedback, train new staff, enforce uniforms, cash handling, and assist in opening/closing in the absence of senior management. Benefits include employee discount, flexible schedule and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure a positive guest experience and atmosphere for team members and guests.
• Manage FOH and BOH shift responsibilities to help control labor costs.
• Monitor speed of service to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Assist with guest comments and complaints.
• Supervise daily shifts to maintain standards of product quality and cleanliness.
• Assist in ongoing training of team members and new hires to ensure procedures are followed.
• Encourage adherence to uniform policy and standards.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Open and close the restaurant in the absence of upper management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
