Job summary

McAlister’s Deli is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily restaurant operations. You will supervise assigned shifts, manage FOH and BOH tasks, and help optimize labor and costs while ensuring high food quality, service, and sanitation.

The role involves addressing guest comments, training new and current staff, and upholding uniform standards. This hourly position offers benefits and a flexible schedule at a franchised McAlister’s Deli location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred.
• Ability to supervise during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure positive guest experience and atmosphere for team members and guests.
• Assist with daily labor controls and cost management.
• Monitor speed of service to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Assist handling guest comments and complaints and escalate when needed.
• Train new hires and existing staff on procedures and processes.
• Ensure compliance with uniform policy and standards.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
