Job summary

McAlister's Deli in Forsyth, IL is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily operations. The Hourly Manager assists in directing restaurant activities, ensuring food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation while stepping in for the GM/ASM as needed.

You will supervise FOH and BOH shifts, support labor controls, handle guest feedback, train new hires, uphold uniforms, manage cash handling, and assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure guest experience is positive, and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Supervise FOH and BOH shifts to help manage labor controls and costs.
• Assist with guest comments and complaints and escalations as needed.
• Assist in training of team members and new hires to adhere to procedures.
• Ensure proper cash handling and open/close procedures in absence of upper management.
