Job summary

Hardee's is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the General Manager in running daily operations, supervise crew, and uphold the restaurant's standards for service, quality, and safety. This role requires strong people skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Prior restaurant supervisory experience is preferred; training is provided. You will coordinate shift activities, train and develop crew, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to policies

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience/education demonstrating commanding knowledge of restaurant management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent planning and time-management skills.
• Team-building abilities and leadership potential.
• Investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Strong communication and open-door policy to meet restaurant needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities and duties.
• Lead shift activities to maximize sales and profits while controlling costs.
• Ensure crew performance aligns with job descriptions and expectations.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Model and encourage Company values.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication with internal/external contacts.
• Attend training to stay current on industry trends and participate in meetings/webinars.
• Perform other duties or special projects as needed in response to business conditions.
