Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help guide staff and ensure smooth, high-quality service in our kitchen and dining areas. You will lead by example, coach team members, and help drive sales while maintaining safety and cleanliness across all stations.

You will work closely with the General Manager to execute daily tasks, monitor compliance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work various shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Frequent lifting of items over 50 pounds will be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with food safety adherence.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and food prep.
• Assist General Manager with task execution, safety, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop teammates in preparing and packaging orders to meet customer service standards.
• Oversee dining room and food prep areas, ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
