Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking Restaurant Shift Leaders to help ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service in our restaurant. You will lead staff, manage processes, and implement strategies to boost sales and satisfaction within a dynamic team environment.

The role emphasizes coaching team members, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely preparation and packaging of orders while supporting the General Manager with daily tasks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with proper task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders to maximize service.
• Oversee cleanliness of dining and prep areas, maintain restaurant equipment.
