Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group, the largest franchise owner of Marco's Pizzas in the US, seeks a shift leader to guide teams, ensure product quality and customer service, and manage costs during each shift. You will train staff on processes and policies, support promotions, and help open/close shifts with accountability for deposits and security.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for guest satisfaction are required.

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
