Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group is recruiting for a shift leader to oversee Marco's Pizza locations. You will lead team members, ensure outstanding food quality and guest service, and manage sales as well as costs on shift.

You will train staff on company policies, handle deposits, and resolve customer issues while promoting a strong team culture and adherence to standards across the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members during shifts to deliver high quality service and product.
• Maintain product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Open and close shifts and manage deposits and cash handling.
• Control food costs, labor, waste and cash while leading shifts.
• Support local store marketing and promotions and train team members on procedures.

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Create an environment that promotes the company culture and philosophies to attract, retain and develop our people.
• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
