Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group seeks a Shift Leader for Marco's Pizza in Chattanooga. You will lead team members, monitor product quality, and ensure top-notch customer service while managing costs and deposits during each shift.

You will train staff, oversee daily operations, and support local promotions. This role offers growth opportunities as the company expands with 30 new locations in the next 5 years.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Experience in shift operations and cash handling is preferred.
• Willingness to train staff and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Age 18+ and able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

As the shift leader, you will lead people, ensure we execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

People

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Train team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.

Sales and Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Manage and organize all positions each shift and delegates duties to team members.
• Support production as needed.
• Support local store marketing and promotions.

Leadership

• Open and close shifts without supervision.
• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.
• Deliver great guest service every time and resolve customer complaints and issues as they arise.
• Control food costs, labor, waste, and cash while leading shifts.
• Responsible for accurate daily deposits and cash handling procedures.
