A Shift Leader supports the management team in running the location, including but not limited to:

• Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Producing high-quality food
• Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
• Cash handling
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program
• Developing others for career growth
• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Participating in marketing initiatives
• Building sales
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
• Being certified in all four restaurant positions
• Effective communication
• Sense of urgency

Expectations for a Shift Leader:

• Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance, with accommodations for disabilities as per ADA
• Work 38-40 hours per week
• Have reliable transportation
• Communicate with management about issues
• Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance

Additional responsibilities include creating high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer experiences, and managing a team of 2-5 people.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of QSR experience preferred, Serve Safe Certification, and reliable transportation. Must be 18+ to operate the slicer. Tips range from $4-$6/hour additionally.
