Job summary

Fiery Crab in Denham Springs, Louisiana is seeking a Restaurant Service Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and lead a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and support staff. You will ensure exceptional customer service and a smooth dining experience.

You will recruit, train, coach, and schedule staff, coordinate with the kitchen, and maintain compliance with regulations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure front-of-house staff are fully staffed at all times.
• Recruit, train, and supervise servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and support staff.
• Create and manage employee schedules to cover peak hours and events while controlling labor costs.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.
• Maintain operational excellence for efficient restaurant operations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Foster a restaurant atmosphere patrons and employees enjoy.
• Handle various other tasks as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
• Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and support staff
• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events while optimizing labor costs.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to maintain a motivated and efficient team
• Maintaining operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively
• Work closely with the kitchen team and other department managers to coordinate seamless operations and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
• Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
• Various other tasks as needed
