Description

This position is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Adheres to all health regulations and local liquor laws. Delivers exceptional guest service and promptness to guests dining in the restaurant. Follows CSM and brand standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

1. Anticipates and responds to guests in a friendly, positive, and timely manner.
2. Provides the highest quality service and establishes rapport with guests.
3. Follows CSM guest service recovery program, suggests ideas, and responds to feedback to maximize guest satisfaction scores.
4. Listens attentively, takes orders accurately, and uses proper serving techniques.
5. Knowledgeable about specials and promotions; actively up-sells menu items to maximize revenue.
6. Adheres to health regulations and local liquor laws.
7. Follows all cash handling/POS procedures.
8. Completes side work such as cleaning, stocking, and maintaining the restaurant environment.
9. Handles cash and financial transactions properly.
10. Uses equipment correctly and adheres to cost controls to reduce waste.
11. Maintains a clean and safe work area, delivering food and beverages in accordance with regulations.
12. Follows procedures for guest/associate incidents and emergency protocols.
13. Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work to meet volume requirements.
14. Adheres to attendance, grooming, and work standards.
15. Participates in meetings and works collaboratively with team members.
16. Completes duties within or outside normal responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• One or more years of guest service experience.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain TIPS or CARE certification is preferred.
• Must be able to walk constantly, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
