Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality Goleta is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Server to deliver outstanding guest experiences at our hotel restaurant. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure guest satisfaction with a friendly, professional approach.

The role requires at least 1 year of server experience, plus Food Handlers and Alcohol Beverage certifications. Compensation starts at a fixed hourly rate with tips, and a robust benefits package is available for part-time team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year server experience in a similar operation.
• Alcohol beverage server certification required.
• Food handlers certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and guest satisfaction.
• Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the restaurant, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.

Compensation: $16.90 per hour + tips

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness

Compensation: $16.50/hour + tips

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
