Paycom - ATS is seeking a Lead Restaurant Server to join our Food and Beverage team. The role focuses on delivering gracious hospitality, taking orders, and supervising service flow to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will greet guests, answer questions, upsell menu items, monitor alcohol service, and coordinate with the host team to assign stations. A strong service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18/21 years of age, depending on the restaurant venue.
  • 1+ years in a similar role.
  • Must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service.
  • Must possess or be able to complete ServSafe/Food Handler’s training and certification.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take and record food and beverage orders from Guests according to the dining sequence of service.
  • Provide exceptional Guest service, portraying a positive and professional attitude.
  • Acquire station assignments from the Host team or management at the start of the shift; complete opening and side work duties.
  • Greet Guests immediately, make suggestions, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and service.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Guests.
  • Make recommendations for food and beverage menu items based on Guests’ preferences.
  • Engage with Guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive manner.
  • Practice salesmanship to augment the dining experience without over-ordering.
  • Ensures all food and beverages delivered and served are prompt, garnished correctly, and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor Guests for signs of intoxication and refuse alcohol service when needed, reporting to management.
  • Properly present the Guest check and process payment for all food and beverages served.
  • Close the station at the end of the shift with side work and checkout duties.
  • Complies with Department of Health and sanitation standards.

Lead Restaurant ServerPosition SummaryAs a Team Member of the Food and Beverage team, the Restaurant Server is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Restaurant Server is responsible for actively taking orders, conducting full and complete food/beverage service, and monitoring Guests’ dining experience.
