Job summary

FRCG is hiring for a restaurant role in Coralville, IA. You will greet guests promptly, work in a team, and introduce yourself with menu knowledge to drive sales.

Serve food and drinks courteously, ensure responsible alcohol service, enter orders accurately, and assist with seating and phones when needed. Maintain cleanliness and provide a pleasant farewell to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive demeanor.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within one minute of seating.
• Work well in a team and communicate clearly with guests and teammates.
• Introduce yourself by name and demonstrate menu knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Serve food and beverages courteously, accurately, and promptly.
• Provide responsible alcohol service per policy and regulations.
• Enter orders accurately and promptly to the terminal system.
• Assist with seating guests and answering phones when needed.
• Bus tables to maintain a clean, guest-ready section.
• Run food and refill beverages; complete side work during shift.
• Consistently upsell appetizers, fried rice, and desserts.
• Process guest payments accurately and promptly.
• Bus and reset tables; maintain cleanliness of dining room, bathrooms, doors, and windows.
