Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server for our on-site restaurant. You’ll serve the same residents daily, learn their preferences, and deliver warm, personalized service in a supportive, hospitality-driven environment.

Enjoy predictable hours with no late-night shifts and non-tip-eligible earnings. You’ll help prepare the dining room, take orders, assist with events, and build real connections with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to multi-task and collaborate with team members.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on hospitality role.
• Prior dining/Restaurant Server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, personalized dining service to assigned tables in the on-site restaurant.
• Take accurate orders, recommend menu items, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure correct temperatures and proper presentation of orders.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations.
• Maintain overall dining room cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Our new senior living community in the San Diego area will offer dependable schedules with no late-night shifts in a supportive, hospitality-driven environment. As a Dining Room Server, you’ll serve the same residents each day—building real connections, learning their preferences, and delivering warm, personalized service.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, hospitality oriented position
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
