Belmont Village Senior Living is hiring a Dining Room Server to provide attentive, personalized service in our on-site dining room within a supportive assisted living community. You will work with a team to deliver meals and support events, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and guest satisfaction across all meals and occasions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to multi-task, listen actively and collaborate with team members.
• Willing to learn and work in a hospitality-oriented role.
• Dining etiquette knowledge and prior server experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance essential for community operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in the on-site restaurant.
• Take accurate orders, recommend menu items, and deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature and with proper presentation.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service with complete flatware, condiments and beverages.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout each meal.

SCHEDULE

Full Time scheduled shift times vary between 6am and 8pm including weekends and holidays as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands‑on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community dining room.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience

• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy

• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready

• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community

• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Must be able to efficiently multi‑task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, hospitality oriented position

• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
