Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living Corporate is seeking a Dining Room Server on a per diem basis in California. You will provide hands-on table service in the on-site dining room for residents, supporting meals and special events.

This role emphasizes reliability, guest-focused service, and teamwork within our assisted living community. Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food, ensuring correct temps and presentation, and helping set up dining rooms for service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, hospitality oriented position.
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Per Diem)

Looking to cover 2 to 3 shifts per week to include a weekend day.

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands‑on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community dining room.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
