Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Dining Room Server to provide attentive, person-centered service in our on-site dining room. In this full-time, non-tipped role, you will take orders, serve meals, set up dining spaces, and assist with special events, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and a positive team culture.

Candidates should be at least 16, fluent in English, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.

SCHEDULE

Full Time scheduled shift times vary between 6am and 8pm including weekends and holidays as needed.

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community dining room.

Your Typical Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
